This is a digital escape room activity that reviews grade 3 skills. It is great for grade 4 beginning of the year . The activity focuses on multiple third grade skills such as subtraction, multiple step problems, perimeter, equivalent fractions, and ordering fractions. Aligned to Common Core Standards for grade 3.
An Escape Room is an adventure in which players solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints, and strategies to complete the objectives at hand.
In this DIGITAL Escape Room, students are presented with a situation. They attempted to follow a magic slime recipe and ended up getting shrunk and stuck inside a tiny jar. In order to escape, they must complete 4 challenges. Each challenge provides a code which unlocks a digital lock.
The activity can either be played in small groups or independently .
This escape room is digital. No copies or laminating. No prep. Simply give the students the link provided and that’s it. No google accounts needed, no forced copies, no assigning in google classroom. All students need is a device with internet access.
